STUDENTS STUDYING ABROAD

"When I decided to go abroad, I knew I wanted to go to Spain to practice the language skills I developed through high school. Since the most advertised study abroad locations at Duquesne are the Rome and Dublin programs, I wasn't sure how I could make going to Spain a reality. The Study Abroad Office, especially Danielle Genemore, helped me prepare for my semester abroad every step of the way. I was able to have an unforgettable experience in Sevilla, Spain with the American Institute for Foreign Study at the Universidad de Sevilla."

“Studying Abroad with Duquesne has been without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. The classes were incredible; being able to actually see the historical artwork and landmarks as we learned about them is unique and a great change of pace from a normal lecture class. Professor Lev’s class was especially memorable and is one of my favorite classes I’ve ever taken. Michael and Alana are super helpful and lead a lot of super fun and informative trips all across Italy. I would recommend that everyone find a way to study abroad if they can. You’ll make great friends and memories that last a lifetime.”

"Studying abroad allows students to truly understand other cultures. Duquesne gave me the opportunity to live and study in Dublin, which is an opportunity I would never have had otherwise."
